  •   Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  •   Documents financial transactions by entering account information
  •   Review of bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
  •   Examining expenses submitted by employees
  •   Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
  •   Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
  •   Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
  •   Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
  •   Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  •   Maintains financial security by following internal controls
  •   Complies with regulatory requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
  •   Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  •   Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
  •   Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, seminars, events, etc.
  •   Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  •       Graduate / Post Graduate in Accounting & Finance (having cleared Chartered Accountancy is a plus)
  •       5 + years of work experience as an Accountant
  •       Hands-on experience with accounting software
  •       Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  •       Experience with general ledger and ledger classifications
  •       Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  •       Should have a passion for numbers and enjoy numerical analysis
