Background

An Indian E-commerce company recently received an Investor funding and required to scale their presence across India. They needed to fill in the newlycreated positions across North, South and West India.

Requirement

The client required large number of positions to be filled up across department from Mid-levels to Senior-level. Among many of the large Recruitment agencies in the country, The Skill Labs was shortlisted as a recruitment agency on-board to support in their hiring targets for all Non-IT Profiles. The basic mandate for most of the Profiles was to hire 70% of talent with necessary experience but having graduated from Tire 1 & Tire 2 instituteonly.

Solution

A dedicated Account Manager with more than 15 years of experience had been assigned to the client. A team of recruiters compiled with each of them coming from the relevant industry specific backgrounds. A Requirement Briefing sessions were periodically conducted with the Clients Talent Acquisition Team, Hiring Manager and The Skill Labs Account Management Team. A clear actionable Recruitment Strategy was devised & implemented to attract the talent from Tire 1 & Tire 2 institutes. Multiple platforms& specialized networks wereusedto source the right candidate. Screening exercises were conducted and only the most relevant candidates were shortlisted for client’s review. This helped the client to have quality Resumes / CV’s to reviewand interview as compared to hundreds of un-relevant CV’s.

Outcome

Over 25positions were filled, ranging from mid-level to Director-level roles across North, South & West India within a span of 6months. Most of these positions were filled with talent graduating from institutes like IIM, IIT, FMS, SP Jain, NIFT, NMIMMS, ICAI, etc. Across all the Recruitment Campaigns, the Interview to Offer-issue ratio was as high as 40%. The Skill Labs became among the most preferred recruitment agency on board with the client. The relationship with the client still continuous.
